What an Agent Rule does
An Agent Rule decides who should qualify for a playbook based on the person behind the event, not just the event itself.
Steps
- Open CRM -> Agent Rules.
- Click Add Agent Rule.
- Name the rule so your team can understand its purpose quickly.
- Link the rule to the playbook you want it to activate, if one should be attached immediately.
- Add the filters that matter: lifecycle, tags, source type, minimum score, and custom field conditions.
- Save the rule and activate it when you are ready.
Good first rules
- only leads from paid ads enter the high-touch sales follow-up
- only alumni above a certain score enter a win-back or ascension playbook
- only contacts with a specific custom-field value enter a vertical-specific sequence
Keep the first rules simple
Start with one obvious condition set before you stack multiple filters and edge cases.
