How to configure email sending on a custom domain

Use this guide when the project already has a custom domain and you want email sending from that same domain.

Before you start

• The custom domain should already be connected to the project.
• Decide what sender name and address prefix you want to use.

Steps

1. Open the project's Domains section.
2. Find the domain and enable email sending for it.
3. Copy the DNS records RevMozi shows.
4. Add those records at your DNS provider if RevMozi did not manage them automatically.
5. Check verification until the email domain becomes verified.
6. Set the sender name and sender address prefix you want customers to see.

What this enables

After verification, RevMozi can send from an address like:

• hello@yourdomain.com
• team@yourdomain.com

How this differs from the primary-domain guide

This guide is for sending from a custom domain already connected to the project. The primary-domain guide is for keeping the website on one domain, such as go.client.com, while sending mail from another, such as client.com.
