How to configure mailbox pixel tracking
Enable or disable the weak email-open signal for ready outbound sending domains.
How to configure mailbox pixel tracking
Use this guide when RevMozi has allocated outbound mailboxes and you want email-open signals in outbound analytics.
Pixel tracking adds a tiny invisible image to emails sent from selected domains. A load is a weak signal. It is not proof that a person read the message.
Before you start
- At least one mailbox must be allocated.
- The sending domain must be ready for tracking.
- Use a separate outreach domain for cold outbound. Do not use your primary business email domain for high-volume prospecting.
Steps
- Open Settings -> Mailboxes.
- Find the Pixel tracking card.
- Turn on Pixel tracking.
- Choose the ready sending domains that should include the tracking pixel.
- Click Save pixel tracking.
Every mailbox on a selected domain will include the tracking pixel on future eligible sends.
What to verify
- The selected domain shows as ready.
- The mailbox table shows pixel tracking as on for the intended senders.
- Outbound Analytics shows People with open signal after tracked emails are loaded by recipients or mail clients.
Important notes
- Opens are weaker than replies, meetings, bounces, and deliverability.
- Privacy proxies and security scanners can load images without a human reading the email.
- Turning pixel tracking off stops adding the pixel to future sends from those domains.
