Use your own branded URL for a deployed project, whether that is a subdomain or a full domain setup.
How to add a custom domain or subdomain
Use this guide after the project already works on its live RevMozi URL.
Two common setups
- Subdomain setup: use something like
go.client.com - Full-domain setup: use a root domain and let RevMozi manage more of the DNS setup
Steps
- Open the project's Domains section.
- Click Add Domain.
- Choose whether you are connecting a subdomain or a full domain.
- Enter the domain details RevMozi asks for.
- Add or confirm the DNS records shown in the setup wizard.
- Wait for verification and activation.
- Open the branded URL and verify the public site loads correctly.
Choose the simpler option first
If you are unsure, start with a subdomain. It is usually the cleanest branded setup and the easiest to recover if something is misconfigured.
What to verify after activation
- the site resolves on the new branded URL
- the old hosted URL is no longer the only link you rely on
- form, booking, and checkout flows still work on the branded domain
