How to get to your first sale

Use this guide when your workspace is new and you want one clean path from setup to a real customer action.

Before you start

  • Know the first offer you want to sell.
  • Know whether it is free, one-time, or subscription.
  • Know whether fulfillment is appointment-based, membership-based, or something the buyer receives immediately.

Steps

  1. Create one offer that is easy to explain and easy to buy.
  2. Add at least one price so checkout has something concrete to sell.
  3. Connect your payment provider so money movement can create enrollments and revenue events.
  4. Publish one page or funnel that has a single next step: submit, book, or buy.
  5. If the offer includes calls or sessions, connect calendar booking before you send traffic.
  6. Activate only the default playbooks that support this first sale, usually lead welcome, order confirmation, appointment reminders, and feedback collection.
  7. Run one end-to-end test using a real internal lead, booking, or low-risk payment before sending outside traffic.

What good looks like

After the first successful flow:

  • the person appears in CRM
  • the payment or booking event is logged
  • the person moves to the correct lifecycle state
  • the right follow-up playbook starts

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Launching multiple offers before the first one works cleanly
  • Publishing a page before checkout or booking is tested
  • Turning on every playbook instead of the few that support the first customer journey
